A nice establishment, but around noon it is quite busy (I prefer to avoid it between 12h and 14h). The staff is friendly and willing to help. In many places it is hard to find enough vegetarian food, this is the place where healthy and a lot of options for vegetarians meet each other.

My friend is vegetarian but I'm not and this place catered for us both. Very quirky setting with pianist playing happily. Had baked trout with potatoes, vegetables and salad and my friend had 6 items from the salad bar. Great place and best meal I've had so far in Krakow

Really good price, tasty food, mesmerizing ambience, relaxing music, central location and nice staff. I chose this place because of positive reviews and was not dissapointed at all. Thank you for this experience!

The ground-level self-service restaurant is attractive, with plenty of seating and a selection of items to choose from. Below ground, there is a very atmospheric restaurant with beautiful and unusual decor. The menu offers a good selection for those who eat meat, but if you're a vegetarian you have one choice - a selection of dishes from the upstairs self-service... More

I'd been told about this place by friends (who are very fussy about their food), who had been in Krakow a week before me. They spoke very highly of its atmosphere and value, so I had to try out the cafeteria counter. It was so good I returned twice, having the four selections option on each occasion - plenty of... We are a group of 3 couples travelling and came in here on our first night on the recommendation of a polish friend's (who lives in the UK)brother (who lives in Kraków) We rang in advance to book for 6.30. When we arrived, we noticed that on the ground floor level there was a self service restaurant which looked quite... More

We went for the 4 dish option and it was more than enough for a late lunch as they piled it high. Had some beetroot with pickled fish, potatoes, pork fritters and coleslaw. There is quite a lot of choice and it all looks freshly made. Good chance to try some local food and easy enough to point at what... More

Pretty simple - Lots of lovely, fresh, tasty and healthy food ... great for veggies (but still plenty of meat - c'mon, it's Poland!), really good variety and choice, well priced, nice and cosy/interesting place to eat, very central. Could quite happily eat here every day! Oh and check out the fresh juices too.

We ate in the downstairs restaurant at Chimeria. We thought the restaurant was quite atmospheric in an old fashioned way and it seemed quite popular. The pork tenderloin main course we had was probably our best meal in Krakow. The starter was also good. The chocolate cheesecake desert was huge but was dry and lacked flavour. The other disappointment was... More

In the 14th century cellar is a fine restaurant with, for Krakow, a little bit high prices but is definitely good price/quality ratio. I eat duck breast in cherry sauce and dish was excellent!
