Our group of 6 had a great meal at Borpince. Our waiter was excellent and communicated well in English. The goulash sampler with 4 types of different goulash was very good. Highly recommended.

We went there for dinner on our first day in Warsaw. The food is different yet very tasty. Their salad which includes watermelon, feta cheese and greens is absolutely amazing. Our veg pasta was very different and fish for other friends was also liked by...More

The food was good, although starting to get more expensive for Poland. However, I did have an attempt by our waiter to scam me on my credit card for about $900. You would hope the restaurant does not condone this behavior, but I cannot say....More

Stumbled across this little place, and being from a Hungarian family, thought it would be fun to try out. Down steep steps to the main eating area, which looks nice and dark and cosy, but is actually freezing cold and not very comfortable - especially...More

Borpince (wine cellar in Hungarian) has been in the gastronomic scene for a number of years but has never rested on its laurels. Irecommend the mixed selection for two which is PLN80 or so. Pancakes for dessert. Friendly and unobtrusive service

This is a cellar restaurant with a good atmosphere. We shared a kettle of Hungarian goulash soup which was superb. The main courses were equally good. Our waiter went to great lengths to be helpful and recommend good and reasonably priced wines. Well worth the...More

On recent visit it was obvious that this place passed its best (visited several times in the past): menu cards quite tired, wine list did not reflected stock available and food tasted as it was reheated rather than cooked for the guests. Must find new...More
