This is a place where you can have amazing specialties from Eastern Europe and Black Sea region. It is a dimly lit place which resembles a traditional dining room of the region. We had cheburek, Ukranian pierogi,Ukranian beers and pickled gherkins - heart portions and really good prices for what you get. There are no vegan options but many vegetarian... More

Food was good, cold platter came with a shot of vodka which was a nice touch. The garlic bread was the best we have ever had. The main courses were tasty and filling. Would highly recommend

Really good dishes, but rather small portions. Service was good, and nice interior. I guess the interior looks like an old traditional Russian house.

As vegetarians we expect to find very few choices on any menu and had expected just one or two in a Russian restaurant. In Babushka we were happy to find a satisfying number of dishes to choose from. We particularly relished the Chiburekk and the Kefir drink. We prefer spicier food but did not expect our Russian meal to be... More

The food was delicious. With 12 in our party, there was a variety of dishes ordered and everyone was happy with the dishes, except for one and that was because the food was not hot. We were at two tables and one server was more available than the other. We had to ask for our server and eventually someone else... More

Why? Because the staff is very nice, the food is pretty good, the prices are average but... this strange for me that during weekend lunch time they don't have beverages that are in the menu (standard ones like 7up) and when I've asked for jug of tea (that was in the menu also), they said they don't have but they... Very small place. Interior in rustic style, wooden tables and benches. Food is delicious - best out of russian and ukraine cuisine. I ordered dumplings (plemeni and verenniki), chebureki and solyanka. Very tasty. Worth to visit if you tired of international dishes and looking for something different. Service very friendly

Babooshka is little Russian restaurant in central Warsaw. The food is quite basic - mostly blins, pielmieni and other dumplings. And - borsch- of course, but for the price it's great on a cold December evening.

The menu is not that long, but what they have is very good. Traditional Eastern food and very nice Ukranian beers. Don´t miss it if you happen to be next to the University
