Now, this is about as good as it gets. Honest, straightforward and well prepared. With a kind touch. Excellent.

I came to Piran with my girlfriend for only a day. We walked around and found this gem place 3 mins from the main square. If you want to hop in a fancy restaurant with a view on the sea, then it's not your place. But if you want to mingle with locals, listen to local music :), self serve... More

it was great restaurant. the dishes were big and fantastic. I and my daughter took plate for two with mix of seafood and my wife take the calamari. It is a self service terrace. The drinks are served in the bar next to the restaurant.

We had a short afternoon visit of Piran and we accidentally found this place. The setting is very nice. Small hidden square in the historic part of town. Vey intimate and cosy with domestic mood. The food was gret for a quick lunch and the prices are decent. Friendly staff. Totally love this place and would recommend it to everyone.

Absolutely gorgeous little place. Self service seafood. Stuffed Calamari €10, seafood plate for 2 persons €23/€28. Excellent value for money, superb little gem. Highly recommended!

We spotted this place on a walking tour, it was packed so we waited for a table. It is very busy so you have to be patient. The house wine was very good and very cheap! 4 large glasses at 4.20 euros! Beautiful food we ordered a tuna tortilla and fresh fish. Good size protons and very tasty all very... More

Fritolin pri Cantini is a particular self service restaurant. You check the menu on the board or in the menu on the table (they are all outside on the square) and then you order on the counter and you get a number in return. And then you wait til your number is called. If it is a busy night you... More

On a little plaza in Piran, the place is nice at night. Good food and quite cheap, staff is friendly. I recommend the share plates.

Together with an old friend of mine we had a two weeks’ road trip in the Balkan region and honestly we had great food in all the cities and restaurants we visited but this to me was by far the best experience, and here are the reasons why: 1) Location: the restaurant is located in the old square where during...
