We loved this restaurant. We called ahead for a reservation and we could get a table for 14 people within one hour. The food was delicious!!!

The worst meal I have had in living memory. Frozen vegetables, tinned asparagus and chicken smothered in cheese. Not good.

This is a favourite of mine for many years and it still lives up to my expectations. Great locally prepared Hungarian cuisine It is very popular with the locals, offers everything you would want to try and as everything is very well priced, you can certainly go for an assortment of dishes - If you don't eat it all, take... We went here often when we lived in District 13, and deliberately chose not to offer a review to keep the tourists away! After three years away, we went back for a visit this past month, and since we're now the tourists, decided we should tell others about this wonderful gem. Great array of food options, all VERY reasonably priced,... More

We've had a relatively good lunch here. I've took a menu of goulash soup and chicken paprikash and a pancake with jam. I think the price was around 3000 HUF which is pretty good for the area were the restaurant is located. The food camed quickly, the goulash soup was on a small bowl, but it was tasty. The chicken... Being a bit further outside the main tourist spots, this place is great value... 50p per 200ml of wine, £1.75 for a stein of beer, £2.50 for an aperol Spritz. The place is cosy and traditional. We ordered food and they are very generous with the portions. (And the cheese.) Recommend if you're in the area for a good Hungarian... More

It is 2017, how can they state in their menu that because of technical problems they can't accept credit cards? Although I knew this when I went to the restaurant, I asked if I could pay with euros when I got my table. The waitress was nice and said yes. What she didn't tell me was that when I paid... More

This was my second visit to this restaurant after four years. I was taken there by Hungarian friends that live in Budapest - it is their favourite restaurant. That says it all in many senses. The menu is almost exclusively traditional Hungarian dishes made of quality ingredients cooked well. The surroundings are fairly old fashioned but deliberately so. Not as... More

This is a place constantly full of locals, where you can experience a wide range of Hungarian dishes at a very reasonable price. If you want to go local in a genuine and not fancy place, it is definitely recommended.
