This place serves traditional Hungarian cuisine! Highly recommend the beef stew with Hungarian dumplings! Good portion, and it was just oh-so-delicious! If one doesn't eat beef, chicken drums or paprika chicken are also available. More traditional Hungarian cuisine, such as beer meat and goose legs, are also available. I didn't get the guts to try them (and I really should... More

On our way to the heroes square, Vajdahunyad Castle and Szechenyi baths we stopped by this hidden place in the basement if a building. Food is really inexpensive and quality is very good. Perhaps that soups could have a little more substance. Anyway, completely recommended to try good Hungarian cuisine at low prices.

Friends enjoyed dinner here twice so had highly recommended ito. I had dinner at another restaurant, which was below average. We were in the mood for desert so decided to come here for desert and coffee to check it out personally. The atmosphere and the decor is cozy, with brick arched ceilings and other features. Service and food were excellent.... More

We were so looking forward to dinner here, even took a taxi to get here because we were too far away to walk. The restaurant is cozy and has character, for sure! However, the rest of the time we were there we felt very awkward. Our waitress was sullen, non-communicative, and did not return to see if we liked our... More

The place is hidden anf far from the centre of the town but the inside is very traditional and you can taste authentic hungarian plates in very reasonable and cheap prices...the quality of the food was ok... But the waitress wasn't very friendly and she didn't clean the table we were seating... The table cloth was really dirty from the... More

A cozy place with typical Hungarian dishes. We came here quite early for a dinner, had some delicious palinka and red wine. We had a starter and main dish, very cheap to eat here. I wouldn't say quality was the best, but still surprisingly tasty. Staff was really friendly and understanding. I would recommend to go here for an easy... More

From 12 till 15 they serve a 3 courses lunch menu for 1500 huf. We had a goulash soup for starter and a very good pork fillet topped with mushrooms a ham fillet and cheese sided with vegetables. It was very good! Staff were kind and they also have wifi. Totally worth the visit.

My boyfriend and I celebrated our anniversary there and it was the best option! The environment is very romantic and cozy. The dishes we ordered were very delicious, tasty and well served. The price is also very affordable. We had starters, main dishes, desserts and drinks for only 32 euros!! It's also English friendly :) If you go during winter,... More
