I look forward to visiting the Marriott on my annual November visits to Budapest. I have been coming back for 15+ years. The Sunday brunch is still as great as ever with an eclectic mix of well prepared hot and cold items. Still have lots of seafood items including salmon, tuna and shrimp along with great cheese and sweet tables.... More

As a Marriott Platinum member I had the choice of the Concierge Lounge or Peppers for breakfast. I chose Peppers on most mornings and it was a good choice. The buffet had great selection of both hot and cold dishes, the service was friendly and helpful, and with pleasant weather being able to eat outside was the obvious choice, and... More

As always, lovely brunch! The staff are kind and smiling, the food is delicious and one can find lots of Gluten free dishes. I even enjoyed the gluten free desserts table.

We had dinner with my wife in Peppers Grill. We were the only guests in the restaurant which is located on the ground floor of Hotel Marriott. When you come during the evening, you will enjoy the view of the Danube and the well-lit Buda Castle. The food was great, although a bit expensive. I especially enjoyed the "Goat Cheese... More

We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights so we had breakfast daily and dinner one night. The quality of the food served is excellent. The variety of breakfast options is somewhat limited when compared with some other hotels, but what was served was very good. The coffee was not the best, but there is always the option of ordering... More

We called in here for lunch before transferring to the airport and our flight home. We had the business lunch menu. There were 3 of us and we all enjoyed our food and the view over the Danube to Buda. Cost for all 3 including drinks was approximately £40, so quite good value.

Steak was too oily. Mashed potatoes had to be sent back because they weren't hot. I wouldn't eat at Peppers again.

The restaurant is close to the Danube in the Marriott hotel. The prices reflect the location and that it belongs to a hotel. The food is average. The harvest salad was OK but the chicken in five nuts coat was very dry and salty. I liked the walnut trio. The service was negligent and inattentive. They concentrated only on the... More

District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
