We had a good time at this restaurant. The location is very good with a nice view. We did the gulasj soup and the goose, paired with good hungarian wine. Our waiter, Szabi, made us feel very wellcome and his recomodations for food and wine was excelent! Thank for having us:)

Our first night in Budapest and we had a wonderful meal with great service especially by Szabi in a pleasant environment. The menu had something to suit all tastes. I would particularly recommend the steak salad. Highly recommended.

We found this place late one evening and though the menu was limited, there were definitely options available. We ordered a vegetarian sandwich and the veggies were nicely grilled and the local wine was acceptable. Service was really good and all the staff was warm and friendly. I would definitely return.

Very friendly staff and delicious food. Co - located with the Sofitel. Large portions so my husband and I shared dishes.

Visited April 1. We wanted to sit outside and smoke a cigar. We asked the manager and he confirmed this was a smoking area and said there was no problem. As an added precaution we sat at a table well removed from the other tables and in a corner next to the street (it was a very windy night and... More

We went to this place before going back across the Chain Bridge to have a quick snack for lunch at the bar. There are not too many dishes on offer (bar area), but what they have will be tasty and fresh - Goulash soup and garlic shrimps on a stick. Both were excellent, and the caipirinha was prepared by an... More

Just loved our lunch at this restaurant. The service from Szabi was incredible - his food and wine recommendations were outstanding and shared the history of the wine with us as well. Will definitely be back.

As I stay in the hotel I choose this bar as a meetpoint with friend. Place is nice, service was kind. I had some snack which was OK. As a food I had to choose from "quick menu" so I picked up goulash soup. It was actually pretty good. The only negative is the price, but it make sense in... More

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
