The tom yum soup we had was not spicy enough. I guessed this is to cater to local taste. We were able to add chopped chillis , so no issues. Pad woon sen which is a stir fried slim ricd noodles with prawns was lovely. The green curry beef tasted qiite authentic. Overall a pleasamt thai restaurant

Despite some 'Thai looking' people manning the woks, they didn't deliver authentic Thai tasting food. I have lived in Thailand and know good Thai food. However, very well priced, not too greasy and good drinks selection. More like a fast food joint with better seating options. Good for budget travellers. Easy to read menu.

Thai wok is my go to for inexpensive, quick, tasty Thai food in Budapest. It's a small location with only a few tables, but it's a bright, pleasant interior, and they also do take out. I've been there many times, most recently last month, and have had so many things off the menu, I can't begin to name them all,... More

I have never seen my partner look so disappointed as she started to eat her takeaway meal. They problem is this place used to be good - "it tasted like Thailand!" as she said - but now makes insipid, tasteless shadows of their former menu. The pad thai had almost nothing in it ( see photo - where's the STUFF... More

Wouldnt say its cheap but food is quite OK. Proportion of the meal is a bit weird tho. E.g) lot of rice with much smaller curry

Great little place near Vaci Street, hidden away in a small street that serves very good Thai food. Prices are quite reasonable!

The restaurant is neither welcoming nor off-putting, its a mellow middle ground, staff could improve on their customer service without a doubt, not a single smile to throw around. Very basic furnishing with a semi-open kitchen but not the ones you wish to see during your waiting time. The noodle dish was way too sweet with literally two strands of... More

Love Thai food this place might look like a takeaway but they offer a sit down service you can takeaway but I recommend sit and eat no better than good Thai food in humble surroundings

This small restaurant has take out and some seats. It is fantastic food cooked by Thai women from Northern Thailand. Cheap and delicious.

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
