We looked at several eating places whilst walking along Bajcsy-Zsilinszky and eventually settled on Ezaz as it appeared to offer us the Italian style food we wanted. The pizzas were good and we could not fault either the welcome or the service but we thought that it would have been better priced if we had had the 10% reduction in... More

Had dinner here one evening recently while on a city break and enjoyed our food - service was very efficient and the restaurant cosy inside with good lighting. We reserved a table but not sure if necessary as was only two more tables eating. it was mid week however.

Not bad but the food was not as good as much of the street food I found in Budapest. Service was polite but not very communicative

This gem has the best pizza in town and the staff are supernice. It has become my favorite place, already been here four times this week. The pizza Diavola is superb

Me and my boyfriend found this little place by complete chance, we saw the menu outside, the cute little fairy lights, candles, and we were instantly drawn to it. when we walked in the staff were incredibly friendly, and even though we know absolutely no Hungarian, they spoke English and provided English menu's. There's a good choice of food, but... More

A friend recommended Ezaz to us and we fell in love with it. The atmosphere is very sophisticated and intimate and the staff can not do enough for you but are not overbearing. The menu offers traditional food as well as other local / common dishes that cater to everyone's taste. Pizza/ pasta/ steak/ soups/ salads. If it wasn't for... More

Just up the road from our hotel - 12 Revay - Ezaz Bistro was welcoming, the staff were all friendly and helpful and most importantly, the food was excellent. We were even given free schnapps on our first visit and chose to eat here 3 times during our 6 nights. Not the cheapest Bistro in town but very good value... More

It was not a planned visit to this restaurant but we really enjoyed. The goulash was really tasty and the atmosphere was intimate and romantic. The waiter did his job but was a little bored. We got a table near the window with a view of the curch and it was awesome. Prices are not high.

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
