Notmy favourite dessert but kürtöskalács here are fresh, warm and very good. Plus good coffee. Place is very small, but looks nicely, perfect for a short break during the sightseeing.

Just one sort of dessert - traditional bakery. Very tasty! Coffee is perfect. The atmosphere is simple.

Its a really tasty traditional hungarian sweet. We took it with chocolate and almonds, the second was really Nice. The price is 990ft (3,5€). Give it a try!

Great selection of flavors, they serve the kalacs steaming hot. Great coffee roast, strong taste. The staff is friendly, but the place is very small and always full.

Molnar's Café seems to be a kind of household name in Budapest. So known that the café is the starting point of guided walking tours. Kürtöskalács was explained to as being a... More

Tripadvisor lead us here as it was ranked very high and ni surprise. Excellent chimney cake (we tried the cinamon one)!!!! 4/5 only due to the fact that it was 3 times more expensive then on the street. Coffee was very good andvery cheap in the other hand. Still, stop by to have a short rest but since the place... More

A tour guide suggested we try the chimney cake here as he thinks it's the best in the city and it is easy to see why. It's a small shop with very friendly staff and the chimney cakes are so tasty! You must try it!

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
