It was expensive, but then quality of the food was up to par. Kids under 12 eats free, and that's nice for families. However, I would stronger prefer the free breakfast at Hilton Prague, which has comparable quality and better selection.

I don't know what you like exactly of course but one of the things that you have to know that they have very good coffee. The ladies who are serving are friendly and client oriented. We have spend more or less 2 hours and did not noticed any negative point that should be mentioned.

Words are not enough you must visit. We visited twice for dinner and once for afternoon tea. The building is magnificent - oppulence and spendour of the highest order. The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable and I think we had a different waiter for each course and wine. The food is of the highest quality - OK it's not... More

Highly recommend this cafe if you're into sweet treats - there are so many beautifully presented cakes to choose from that taste amazing. Staff were a little cold and did not seem particularly keen to help but this is worth overlooking to sample the cake. Prices are very reasonable for such an upmarket cafe.

The best cake and coffee option in the local area. Easy to get to on the 4 or 6 tram stop. Opposite Kiraly Utca tram stop. Part of the Corinthian hotel but in a separate shop location. Very good range of cakes and ice creams. Enough choice to suit anyone's tastes. Very nice coffees as well. Staff are very friendly... More

I have been there twice - once a year ago maybe, and for the second time not long ago. It always meets you with warm inviting atmosphere and old good times design, a coffehouse with tasty cakes, marzipan art pieces, and also a long history dating back to the beginning of XX century. Actually it is part of the network... More

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
