Well, what can we say about this delightful little find. We stumbled across this lovely tea house whilst looking for somewhere chilled to have a light lunch. Situated away from the main high street, this place offers great food and hundreds of different teas in a relaxed and ambient environment. To add to such a delightful time, the price was... More

Unique and traditional, simply the best teas in the city. Owners select and import fresh teas every year personally from the best plantations of Far-East. Great place to have an everyday cup of tea or celebrate tea culture with one of the specialtes. It has three different rooms and a cosy courtyard. Teagirls and teaboys are dedicated to help out... I can surely say that this is the best tearoom in Budapest. Not only is it affordable, but the tea they serve is simply amazing. In addition, the atmosphere makes you feel relaxed and calm.

A fantastic little retreat in the heart of Budapest. A small courtyard, tastefully decorated, even more beautiful decor inside. A broad selection of tea from around the world, served individually according to the optimum brewing suggestions. It's also very refreshing, even on a hot day. Would defiantly recommend this place.

Thank Philip W

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
