You know it's not going to be your cheapest night out in Budapest before you walk in, so I see no reason to lamentate about that. Back Home in Germany, this type of dining would have not been affordable. Stellar location and athmosphere, fantastic service...More

We just walked in, looking for a place for dinner, and didn't have a reservation. We had no idea what kind of restaurant this was, but when they brought out a small table for our handbags I knew we were in for a treat (I've...More

We ate as a party of 8 and had the most amazing evening. Our wonderful waitor, Chubba, looked after us like royalty suggesting the 5 course tasting menu which was exquisite. Excellent value too.

We shared beef carpaccio. The kitchen plated it on separate plates for us. Ravioli stuffed with Eve cheese and smoked paprika was big enough for lunch and very tasty. My husband enjoyed his salmon and linguine too. Good wine selection, lovely ambience.

District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses
the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and
colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in
an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes
and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic
crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of
the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in
Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly
