I stopped for lunch and was impressed with Faustos. The service was impeccable and professional. It was of a calibre I almost felt jarring at lunch time. Very good. The sparkling water arrived pronto with a standout box of crackers and breads. I had a...More

This was a superb dining experience - very creative Italian cooking. Menu was small reflecting careful, homemade preparation. This is a lovely dining atmosphere with great attentive service. We would have returned if we had time. Reservations a must and can be made via email...More

We took the walking tour around the Jewish quarter and synagogues in the morning. Beautiful buildings, rich history of a vibrant community, harrowing end. We walked across the street from the grand synagogue and to find an oasis of quiet, sophisticated service and food. Very...More

Had a lovely lunch in this beautifully designed restaurant. I had the special pappardelle and it may have been the best pasta I've eaten. Very professional staff and good value if you want something a bit special.

District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses
the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and
colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in
an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes
and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic

the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in
Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly
