This was our first dinner in Budapest. The food was excellent, and service was, too. We had the Hungarian goulash, the garlic soup, the beef stew, the fried chicken, and the pasta with spicy sausage. All were excellent except the pasta, which we misunderstood the description of on the menu and the fault is partly ours because we didn't really... More

Our first dinner in Budapest. Food was very good and staff was super friendly (rare to find in budapest). We shared a bottle of rose wine between the 4 of us and had goulash soup, tortellini, ravioli and 2 meat dishes and everything was very tasty. Me as a vegetarian would have wished for a bit more choice on vegetarian... More

We saw this recommended in the Guardian and it didn't disappoint. Delicious cocktail while we waiting for the table and the MOST amazing duck burger for main with the crispiest of bacon. Waiter was really great and helpful, food was all delicious and the atmosphere was great. Definitely worth a visit.

We had arrived in Budapest with friends right around dinner time. On our way to our apartment, the cab driver told us to check out Menza. Not taking him at is word, we strolled around town looking for a place that struck our fancy, and after passing Menza once, decided to go back and give it a shot. What a... More

Simply put the best restaurant i have ever visited. Even if you feel you may not like Hungarian food, there is plenty to choose from. Personally i had the duck. It was exceptional and in any other city centre I would expect to part with considerably more cash. Very affordably priced for what you receive. Beer is £2 a pint... More

Great meal at this place. I had a delicious Catfish stew with Hungarian cottage cheese gnocchi. It is conveniently located close to the Opera metro stop.

Good vibe place retro style, amber and green being the predominant colors. Cool design. Food is very tasty, good wine list and prices more than decent. A restaurant that I understood to be always full. Services were very good as well and if some delays it is normal as it is a big place and very busy. A casual day... More

We cannot fault this place at all! The food was amazing, great value for money and the drinks were reasonably priced too. The staff were very friendly, funny, English speaking and always catered to your needs. This restaurant is always busy so make sure you make a reservation as this is a very popular place and you can definitely see... More

Centrally located Menza is a relaxed, trendy restaurant with amusing 60´s decoration. Very welcoming and good service - especially Kurko Ervin, who had a great sense of humor and made us laugh every time he served us. Good local food and seemingly popular among local people. On Sunday night the place was full of young adults.
