We just had dinner at this restaurant after reading such great gluten free reviews. They provided a gluten free bread which was nice, however I was pointed out two options for gluten friendly meals. We went there on the premis of gluten free crepes as a previous reviewer had noted and this wasn't the case. Service was wonderful I couldn't... More

We came across this restaurant for lunch and were not disappointed. We enjoyed our little amuse bouche and had Hungarian hors d'oeuvres for a starter . delicious. Good choice of Mains and perfect wine. Service was excellent. It is a bit pricy but we felt it was worth it.

this bistro in Budapest was an absolute stand out evening for us in Budapest, we booked via our hotel and walked down for an 8 pm reservation. They play live classical music in this venue which may put people off but we found it highly enjoyable. We enjoyed traditional goulash and some fantastic duck dishes together with a fine dessert... Great live music playing in the background. Fantastic service from the offset. Our waiter Attilo went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and attended to our every need. Highly recommend the Farmer's platter for starters and the Beef Gulache for mains. They also do a mixed dessert platter which is great.

We were recommended by the hotel concierge to go here for traditional Hungarian food. We had about an hour before the opera so we needed reasonably quick service which we got! We received good recommendations for food and for wines to accompany the food from the staff who were very helpful and knowledgeable. When the food arrived, it was excellent... More

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
