This restaurant is centrally placed and has a very stylish and nice interior. The bar is the centerpiece of the room and you should try one of their drinks. I had their own variation of G&T, that was infused with rosemary - a really good way to start the meal. This was followed by a mix of traditional Italian starters... More

Very nice restaurant with amazing food and with fair prices. We had two pizzas (dough and tomato sauce were the best I ever had), great beetroot risoto and papardele with bolognese sauce. Everything was fresh from quality ingrediences.

After the concert at the Skt. Stephan we were walking towards the river and found this amazing place. From the outside it looks like a small old place, but don't be fooled. Inside it's huge, warm and filled with laughter and music. The waiter was very attentive, but not too much. He knew when to leave us in peace. From... More

Had dinner with 2 colleagues in Tom-George. It was my second time in this restaurant and, just like the first time, it was quite good. Had carpaccio for starters (very well prepared and tasty) and the roasted ribeye as main dish. We drank a nice italian red (Barbera d'Asti) to go with the food. No desert, we stuck to the... More

If you're willing to spend a little for a good dining experience I can recommend this place. The food is really good. If you want a cheaper option you can get the Arrabiata/other pasta or a pizza which is great. If thats not an issue, the sea food and meat is absolutely delicious, and so are the appetisers. The staff... More

A wide ranging menu with lots of favourites and some really special items. The restaurant enjoys a great location, atmosphere, team of staff; all the essentials. Not the cheapest place in the City but nevertheless well worth a visit. In twenty visits I have never left feeling unsatisfied with the experience and have enjoyed some great occasions here.

We had reserved a spot in the conservatory but asked for another spot when we arrived because there was a big tv screen showing a soccer match on the wall. Rahter silly, because I was under the impression this was a rather stylish restaurant. Luckily there was another table available inside. Though it's a pretty big place, the service is... More

The interior is nothing special, the place is too big for me. The soup was good, the pizza is nice, like the bill. Better than the average, but not the best.

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
