Firstly a spoiler, I have eaten here many times. I come back every now and then because the restaurant has a nice warm atmosphere and the food is consistently good (especially the home made pastas) so it is a reliable choice for business guests. But on every visit (bar one a few years ago) I have been treated like the... More

The biggest Tbone u can imagine! Great attention. Good price. Tasty. But not very Italian 😄 Extra points for the Limoncelo as desert on the house.

For our last night in Budapest, we had decided to go to a nice restaurant. We walked from Jewish Quarter to area near Chain Bridge. After walking around a bit, we decided to try Italian, even though we usually try to avoid non-local food. We got seated fairly quickly in the enclosed patio area. The enclosed patio was heated with... More

The four of us had dinner woth delicious Aperol Spritz coctails. The waitress was not very kind, looked offended and not very helpful about the menu. The pizza with lower carb level was great, the buffalina version with mozzarella di buffala!Pumpkin soup and the ricotta gnocchi were delicious too, even though the portions are rather small and the prices are high. The place gets full in... One of our favorite restaurants in Budapest. Near the Basilica with a fantastic view. Great Italian food with the best Aperol Spritz in town! Try the grilled calamari. They have a gluten free gnocchi with a cheese sauce that is delicious. Lots of steaks and chicken with potatoes and veggies available too.

Visited here just before Christmas for an evening meal, the restaurant was extremely busy. The service we received was terrible but our server did have a very large area to care for. The food however was great at the time but a few hours later I was suffering with food poisoning from either the caprese salad or the garlic chicken,... More

Popped in at 23:10 for a drink and were persuaded by the appetising looking cocktails - 3 deceptively strong but smartly put together drinks later we said our goodbyes happy for the pit stop ! - although we didn't eat - the food that we saw come past looked very good!

We like italian food so when I stumbled upon this restaurant on tripadvisor we had to try it. The pizzas and wine was very delicious, the staff very friendly and polite. When we came there the restaurnat was packed and they kindly offered us to wait for a free table. We soon got it and were very happy that we... More

We dropped in for a quick lunch in the covered porch area and we're happily surprised at the great quality of the food. Our starter salad was fresh and generous and the pizza was top quality authentic Italian. The server was very attentive and friendly even when we requested to move to another table. On Saturday we returned for dinner... More

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
