From the moment we walked in, the smile /greeting from the staff was welcoming. The eclectic decor totally works, and the set-up of the tables is great feng shui ! Enjoy the chicken paprikas stuffed in a crepe (hortabagyi palacsinta). I had this as my starter for my wedding a Gundel & this was much more delicious. Enough for a... More

Walking back to our hotel after visiting Varosliget to the north of the city on our last day, with companions fraying at the edges over there being no likely candidates for places to eat, the good ones being full, we fell upon the Ket Szeresen like sailors from a shipwreck onto landfall. Expecting little we were completely overwhelmed by the... More

We visited on a Saturday evening in January and were lucky to get the last table that wasn't reserved. I'd definitely recommend reserving a table if you can, or prepare to be disappointed if you're visiting on a weekend. Whilst we didn't get to try much of the food (we had a big lunch!) our main courses were very good.... More

Came here for our last dinner in Budapest. Overall this was the best meal. The menu had a lot of great dishes on it and I was stuck deciding what to have. We had tapas to start which was beautiful and then it was followed by the most amazing duck breast risotto. If you want a great Hungarian bistro restaurant,... More

I visited the restaurant several times and the only verdict is - go and try - high quality food, interesting and surprising recipes. Make a reservation - usually very busy place.

Great food, great team! For breakfast, quick lunch, dinner before the theatre, after the cinema, a dessert with your besties or a dinner with your other half...Két Szerecsen is the best choice for every occassion. Wide selection of tapas, weekly special offer, stylish, modern gastronomy in a cozy place in the heart of the city.

My Ravioli were slightly undercooked but the taste was lovely, so were the surrounding. All other food was good, the wine choices a bit limited but they also have beer. We arrived 3/4 hour before our reservation as the Opera (a 3 min. walk away) finished earlier and were seated within 5 min. A very nice place. Would recommend though... More

Stopped in here for a coffee and drink mid-afternoon. When we entered, one of the waiting staff asked if we had made a reservation which we hadn't. They made us wait in the door way until they checked if they had a free table. Once we were seated, I looked round and the place was about a third full, and... More

The place is nice and crowed, sometimes you need to wait a few minutes to sit down. The staff is nice. The food is amazing, really delicious.

I cannot stress enough just how good the food was here. My partner and I had tapas at around midday. We had shrimps in butter sauce, baked goats cheese with apple purée and walnuts, ginger spare ribs, and avocado and salmon. We also had an organic peach juice each too. It was the best tapas I have ever eaten in... More
