The selection of different hot chocolates was amazing. I got the chili hot chocolate where the chilly and bitter of the dark chocolate was tasted just perfect. The hot chocolate is more thick which is just how i liked it. Also bought some chocolates to go which have been nice.

Aztek choxolat So happy we found this beauty! We decided to go here after reading other trip advisor reviews. Such a cosy, warm, friendly atmosphere. Mood lighting, candles and velvet sofas and seats, it felt like the lady's home. There was one staff member serving, she was welcoming and friendly. There was coffees on the menu too but it was... This quaint shop is known for it's homemade hot chocolate, which does not disappoint! The menu offers dark, white, or milk hot chocolate, plus add-ins like forest fruits and mint. Don't forget the fresh whipped cream on top! We enjoyed out hot mugs at a small table in the upstairs loft. It was so good that we plan to return... More

I've known this place for years and followed them wherever they moved. During fall and winter it is the best place to hide from the cold, indulging one's self with a cup of spicy hot chocolate of their wide selection. I mean real chocolate with real whipping cream. And then there are the artisan chocolates and now even paleo cakes.... More

tucked away down a little alleyway with 3 or 4 other restaurants, we had walked past a few times and on our last day decided to have an ice cream. Service was great, friendly lady who was the spitting image of Miranda Hart, happily explained all the flavours in english and served everyone politely. Not as many choices as other... More

Stumbled across this tiny cafe/shop by accident, but how glad I did! Very small establishment with only two tables downstairs but with stairs to the 1st floor (unknown capacity). The hot chocolate with numerous flavours is to die for. Cakes and chocolates also on offer. The care and dedication with which each drink is made has to be seen to... More

Right next to our hostel we visited this place for a quick coffee in the morning not expecting much. How wrong we were! The lady was so helpful and explained all the drinks carefully. We ordered the aztek chilli chocolate with coffee (sorry can't remember the name) and it was amazing, she made each drink so carefully it was like... More

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
