This place is magical. It's like an institution. Stunning ambience with live music and a great setting. Service was a bit cold however worth a visit just to experience the grandeur of this place.

Had been looking forward to visiting here all our trip and it was our last stop and I am sorry to say it was disappointing. The building and interior are out of this world but the service was shocking. Miserable waiter and a very surly...woman who dealt with our bill. They are definitely trading on the name rather than the experience. I would not return or recommend which saddens meMore

Unfortunately the place really lacks of professionalism. The worst part of our experience was the hostess. We did not feel welcome at all because of her unfriendly attitude. The food was also very mediocre, nothing special at all. Yes, the place is nice, but that...doesn’t justify the super high prices. There are so much better places at Budapest in this price range.More

Four stars just for photos! And jaw-dropping interior. Way too long a queue to eat so didn’t bother. So walk in and waltz around and then leave.

Stopped in for coffee and a desert. You can’t sit in the main room if you don’t have a reservation, so we sat off to the side, good but expensive coffee and desert. Nice music playing.

What an amazing place, billed as ‘the most beautiful cafe in the world’ it is without doubt very ornate, the musical trio made the experience, especially the violinist. The service was quick and attentive, the cakes were so pretty and tasted divine, I had a...hot chocolate which was delicious. Well worth a visitMore

We were ignored for far longer than we should have been prior to being seated. Upon being seated, we were amongst a huge number of staff who exerted more effort flirting with each other than serving customers. That number of staff was both unnecessary and...imposing. That number of staff also didn't really bother cleaning up as all of the bins were overflowing and the floor was dirty. If you're going to charge that much, clean up. It isn't too much to ask. Unfortunately the staff had to be told this, as they clearly weren't doing it of their own volition. This also extends to the toilets that stank of urine. Go somewhere else, I implore you. It was too expensive for idle and indifferent staff.More

An unquestionably spectacular interior, well worth seeing. For that reason it is very much on every tourist's bucket list, with all that that implies. Service was courteous and efficient, if a little brisk. The food and drinks were good and well presented. The musicians don't...appear to play for very long.More

Impressive architecture and cakes looked lovely but tasted ok and super expensive. Order was taken wrongly so we were without one drink. Staff seemed disinterested, except when laughing at something outside over customers heads.

I'm afraid you are not allowed to take your dog with you. I'm sure it's a not pet friendly restaurant.
