The food and range of the menu are excellent. A real puzzle that it was so quiet. Right next to the Best Western hotel. Good local wine at very good price too.

Went in and were sadly the only customers... But WHAT a treat. The Starters of fish soup and Caesar Salad were delicious and huge! The mains wie had were Strogonoff and Ribs. My husband (who is fussy) loved the Steogonoff while I (a big eater) could not clear my place. The ribs were accompanied by wedges and pickled cabbage with... More

I still can't believe this place was almost deserted on a Friday evening, but it may be that the area is economically challenged. Anyway, we found prices reasonable and portions generous. (Beef goulash and dessert) for lunch with a few sorproni beers and really enjoyed our meals. I should say that Sopron is my father in laws hometown so I know traditional Hungarian food and this place ticked... More

We opted for the two course set menu which was goulash and an apple cake for dessert. Both were delicious and extremely cheap. Yes, the menu is not in English but don't let that detract you from going.

Very ordinary food chosen from a menu in a language we could not read. Generally this could be fun, but there was no advice available on the dishes and the waiter was more interested in talking to his visiting girlfriend than looking after us, the only customers. When another couple arrived, about 45 minutes after us, the girlfriend left. An... More
