Authentic local restaurant, located in the the center of Sopron. They serve authentic local food, with big portions. The food is nicely made with fair prices. They also offer good value lunch menu and free parking possibility next to the restaurant. The staff is very nice. I definitely recommend it.

Googled 'best goulash soup in sopron' and this was the first result... The goulash soup was delicious - we ordered the large portion which was served in a small bucket with a side of bread. Two soups, a wine and a beer cost 2,500ft (less than a tenner). The menu is either Hungarian or German, and the waiting staff do... More

Perfect place to have a substantial home-cooked meal and a pint of local beer. The place is not large, but cozy and very nice. Service is fast. I enjoyed my vegetarian plate, and my partner really liked his fish meal. English and German menu, pleasant prices, rather big portions. The inner shady yard must be great in summer. It could... I live nearby and eat here regularly. This place caters to Hungarian and Austrian tastebuds and serves the kind of home-cooked meals your grandmother would make. It is always busy, especially at lunchtime, so it's worth booking ahead. As in most local restaurants, there is a super cheap set lunch menu on weekdays, costing only 3-4 euros for a two-course... Our first restaurant visit in Sopron. We had a table in the garden we were so pleased with it. Our food was delicious we had a sharing platter for 2 with 3 -4 different meat and 2 sides, our little ones had (breaded chicken with chips always safe option). Huge portions and the prices are very reasonable. We had 2... More

I've been at lunch time. They have English menu, but the staff don't speak it. I think is really important. The food is nice, very big dishes as a good value, with rich garrisons and everything tasty. I asked deer leg with mushrooms and liver, really nice. My father asked turkey in different manners with salad, rice and potatoes(not fresh!... More

Cosy atmosphere, delicious food, fast and friendly although they don't speak English. Recommend cream garlic bread soup and the beef stew. Affordable prices. Packed for Sunday lunch

Full of locals, cheesy live music in the background and very fair prices. The soups (strawberry and garlic) were both excellent. The mains were also good, particularly the baked goat cheese, but I wouldn't recommend the baked Camembert. Also staff was nice and helpful and the menu was in English despite what I read in some reviews.
