We went there randomly as the place seemed nice from outside. The waiter was ok and the room too (nice US decorations), but the food... I dunno if we made bad choices by not picking texmex stuffs or burgers but the fish of the fish and chips was basically frozen fish sticks (lidl style) and the shrimps from the shrimps... More
I keep on going there since day one. I was there with my girlfriend at first and I am still going there with the same woman who is the love of my life and the mother of my two boys. 16 years ago it was such a novelty to go to a tex-mex place in Szeged or Hungary for that... More
Four of us had an excellent dinner in Gringo's. The portions are huge, and there is a really wide range of choice from mexican, BBQ, and other type of foods. Delicous dishes.
I have had the opportunity to visit Gringo's restaurant in Szeged, Hungary many times. About 20 years ago it was the intention to open a Mexican restaurant. I believe that during the years it turned out that there is more need for burger like, pizza like, balkan grill type of food as it suits more the people in the area,... More
I absolutely do NOT recommed this place. We were there recently with a group of 15 people. The service was slow and terrible. We were waiting 20 minutes while the waitress first came to our table and another 20 mins for the drinks and they forgot 5 out of the 15 drinks. Food was slow and low quality and NOT... More
You can get some Mexican food but most of it is burgers, pizzas and Hungarian food. The Mexican one is also hungarian-mexican if that makes sense... not the real deal. It was good but it's pricey compared to what you get. I'd visit again but don't expect too much if you go there..
This restaurant calls himself mexican, but the food is nothing to do with it. Hamburgers, pizza... Nothing to do with mexican food. The fajita is not even look close to the real one not speaking about the taste of it... If you want ti eat some decent food for high price, go to this place but if you want to... More
We had the Nacho Bela Grande as an appetizer and the combination platter for 2. The amount of food was more than enough, but the quality of it left a lot to desire... It was not the worse food that I ever had and it was also not good enough to convince me to go back.
