The restaurant was recommended by the hotel as we wanted a traditional Slovak dinner. The meat for the mix grill platter (for two persons) was well cooked and very tender. Service was friendly and helpful. We spent a nice evening in this place.

The food was good, not to die for...We ordered some traditional dishes (dumplings with sheep cheese and bacon / veal stew with butter dumplings / pork and beef zucchini crepe) this last one looked really good. The wine is not worthy. Staff was really friendly....More

We visited Prasna Basta tonight after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor. I don’t think we’d have found the restaurant without looking online, and we were pleasantly surprised when entering. The menu was broad, and there was a traditional feel inside with the decor, the...More

Found this online ...would not have known of its existence as hidden down a cobbled street. Had a lovely traditional evening meal and dessert with a nice glass of Aperol Spritz ! Good value for money, good service and ambient atmosphere.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is very cozy, formal without exaggeration: ideal for a couple dinner or for a business meeting. Menu is composed by local dishes: we tried the confit duck (well done), the grilled meat (this can be improved, better to choose the...More

We had a lovely lunch here on our wanderings through a near-deserted Bratislava (a beautiful town but hardly pumping in Feb/March!) The restaurant is simple but atmospheric and I imagine in the evenings it’s magical. Nice staff, decent prices, excellent food, lovely beer. Recommended.

We ate here to sample some local food & wine. Service was good. Interesting location. Menu quite big and varied. We had the baked goats cheese with caramelized pear to start which was delicious. The other starter was traditional pancake stuffed with chicken in cream...More

The nearest mark is Michalska Brana (Michael’s gate), if you go from the city centre, turn right just before the tower, and this will be the street you need. Right in 100 meters you’ll see a an arch leading to some musical... More
