This is obviously made for us tourists and a little Disneyland but despite all this - We loved it and went back at least 3 times during our visit! The food on offer is good quality, ample quantity and tasty! The atmosphere is fantastic and...More

It's a nice authentic place to have lunch. It reflects Estonia middle ages spirit. Cheap, taste and feels like you are part of the history! I tried soup, and I really enjoyed.

We visited this place based on TripAdvisor reviews and, while we went to better quality restaurants, this place deserves a great review for its authenticity and overall experience. Definitely a must whilst in the old town.

We went here for dinner with our local guy. Service has been quite nice, not sure if due to the local speaking guide, but we were very happy with the waitress. I had a beer with herbs which I did not really find appropriate, I...More

The beer and the sausages were good but not great, not much more to say. The place is what it is because of its location and ambient, to have nice Estonian food there are other places much better.

We spent a great time in III Draakon. They serve amazing elk soup and mulled wine! Whole restaurant is kept in medieval spirit - even the staff is dressed up! The staff is very friendly and offers you pickles straight from wooden barrel for free...More

Unless you like tacky tourist traps why would you go here?. We usually avoid places like this like a medieval plague but ended up here as part of a self guided tour of Tallinn's interesting pubs (found on the internet) on the understanding that it...More

Dear Jetsetletsgo Thank you for your review although we are somewhat saddened that your commentary focuses on the price of one beer and one wine rather than the exceptional place that you were visiting - the medieval vaulted tavern that dates back as far as...More

It must be on your list for the unique experience it provides. Also, the elk soup and sausages are tasty, and prices are very affordable.

Although a medieval themed restaurant, standards of hygiene for a restaurant in 2017 should be respected. The broken jars which they serve beers are very anti hygienic as they cannot be washed properly. The soup was nice, sausages were ok, however, like the pastry it...More

Dear Rita Thank you for your review. Regrettably you were obviously unaware that III Dragon is a 'Live Theatre' recreation of a medieval 14th century tavern...so therefore: - The mugs and bowls are deliberately damaged to recreate the medieval feel, however they are all steam...More

I doubt that, as they didn't know about gluten in 1453. But it's more of a place where you go for a quick lunch, so it won't take long to figure that out. They got soup (mostly meat, you gotta ask), pies (like a shepherd's... More

Located under the 12th Century Raekoda (Town Hall) building in the main square of Old Town Tallinn, Kolmas Dragon (or the Third Dragon) is a small medieval-themed tavern. This charming eatery with its beautiful-period interior is hosted daily by a group of petulant housekeepers whose job it is to entertain all-comers with their brusque and rude service manner. However this is all purely theatrical - a style that is closer to the behaviour that one would have received in the medieval ages.

Specialities that are served include beef ribs, elk soup, savoury pastries, pickles from a barrel, teas, wines and the famous house beer.

All those who enter should therefore be ready for not only tasty foods and beverages but also to some exceptionally entertaining service.
