This is a proper German-esq haunt, with plenty of beer, live music, and of course delicious sausages. It was everything that's fun about Bavaria, right here in the Estonian capital. Yes it's loud, and yes there's people dancing, friends meeting up and lads drinking beer, but it's also a fun place to hang out and enjoy some delicious European food.... More

The atmosphere was noisy and the minidrindeln and the lederhosen on the staff were a bit annoying, but I liked the beer, especially the märzen.

The local atmosphere was lively and happy. Most people ordered big glasses of beer. We tried out the possibility to drink various kinds of beers in smaller quantities from one tray. This was indeed quite interesting. Unfortunately however, we were not allowed to take photos there.

We have had two dinners at Beer House. The restaurant has three big dining halls, we chosen the third (farthest from the entrance) one, which imitates a small town - with small "houses" (private launges), "streets", etc. They brew their own beer, which we tried and liked. Small chebureks (lamb meat fried pies) with sauce, nuremberg sausages with sauerkraut and... More

Could have nice atmosphere, but understaffed and hence full of stressed wait staff doing their best but making for a slightly rushed slipshod experience. Put a few more people on and you have a decent place just off the square.

I don't really have much more to say then these guys should perhaps get some helpful staff; or more staff in general. My experience was standing in the entrance where staff tell us to stand and wait for a table, then forget about you. A another person they do the same, 25 mins later ask a third, they tell you... I used to go to this place all the time since it was opened. It used to be a lot better, with nice food, good prices, full of locals as well as tourists. The place has changed over years unfortunately and not in a good way. It still has excellent interiors and great beers but now it's well overpriced and... More

A place to go to sample the famous pigs crunchy ears. I don't drink beer so just had the food which was great and had hearty portions although for an above average price. Very central and atmospheric inside. Great for big big companies ))))

Every city need a place like this. A place where they brew their own beer. And you can drink it on thick wooden tables with a bunch of friendsI liked it, but hey why are you trying to be German? Estonian beer and Estonian tradition is nothing to be embarressed about. Do it the estonian way, and not in german.... More
