Beautiful atmosphere with a rooftop view of Hanoi. We arrived early, before 6:30 and witnessed a magnificent sunset.
The service was very pampering and attentive.
Every dish was well done and very appealing.
We had the chef salad and for dishes- the grilled chicken and the salmon.
The prices are much higher than typical Vietnamese restaurants, but for the food, service and location, it is worth it.
Would recommend!

What an incredible dining experience! The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere that’s perfect for any occasion, whether it’s a casual dinner or a celebration. The staff were incredibly polite and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The food was absolutely delicious—every dish was prepared to perfection, with the flavors perfectly balanced and ingredients that tasted incredibly fresh. I was especially impressed with the attention to detail in presentation. The portion sizes were just right, leaving us satisfied but not overstuffed. Expectations were completely exceeded, courteous super nice service,
Starter Vietnamese spring rolls were handmade a poem, the salmon as a main course can not be made better. A culinary delight of a special class. With quiet live music with Dan tranh(plucked instrument)

I had a wonderful dinner at Ding Doong Restaurant last night. We made a reservation and were seated by the window with a lovely view of the cathedral. The food was excellent—especially the beef noodle served in a hot stone bowl, which kept it warm throughout the meal. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the live violin performance on Saturday evening added a magical touch to the dining experience. Highly recommend for a special evening!

Great service and food. Must try the pumpkin soup and rocket salad. The servers were very helpful in giving suggestions for menu items to choose. They also showed us how to properly eat the dish!! 5stars!!

Today I experienced afternoon tea and cakes at the restaurant on the 9th floor of Ding Doong restaurant at the Grand Du Lac Hanoi hotel. The cakes and tea are truly delicious and rich. We had dinner at the Ding Doong restaurant today. The tables are beautifully set and the atmosphere is wonderful. We chose a menu including wine and were allowed to swap a course because I am allergic to seafood. That was very accommodating. The service was excellent and Jade looked after us perfectly. The wine was delicious and the menu was delicious, too. We were particularly impressed by the lovingly prepared plates. Fresh products were used and the flavors were excellently coordinated. We would like to thank you very much for a wonderful evening and can definitely recommend this restaurant.

We had friend gathering dinner last week at this place. The experience was truly amazing.
The restaurant is located in 9th floor of Grand Du Lac Hotel, right next to St. Joseph’s Cathedral. Thus the restaurant is newly operated, the food was good, the service was exceptional. Really appreciated the hospitality of the staffs, especially Mr. Thuy - who helped us with our very last minute request for table decoration as we were unable to prepare for it.
Highly recommend this place for not only large group but couple as well.
