Stopped by on the spur of the moment for a quick lunch. The person that looked after us was great, he was especially great with my boys. Service was friendly, prompt and professional. I had the main stuffed prawns (bacon and spinach stuffing) deep fried with chips and coleslaw. I am fussy with prawns and I was very happy with... More

Joe's has a great atmosphere, excellent service, good wine selection and yummy food! Don't miss out on this one if you want a romantic dinner for 2 or a family dinner for all. Worth making a reservation so you don't miss out!

The fish is fine especially the spanish mackerel so why not more stars? Firstly, after recently eating on the Sydney Harbour foreshore, St Kilda and at Glenelg, there is no reason why Perth and Fremantle restaurant prices are not lower; absolutely no reason at all! Secondly the coleslaw which accompanies the fish & chips. It like KFCs from the 1980s... More

Staff were friendly and attentive. Our timing was great and we garnered a corner table overlooking the harbour. Both of our meals were excellent (some of the best fish I've ever had). The only downfall here is the aging infrastructure. There is definitely history here. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and afternoon meal at Joe's Fish Shack.

The service was slack, good average for the price, smelly toilets, waited ages for any attention. The waitresses were busy looking busy. The food was below standard for these prices. Won't come back.

Joes has always been a go to place for me, and today was a great sunny day so decided to go and have an easy fish and chip lunch in their outdoor takeaway area. What did I deserve to get food this bad? $37.30 for overcooked, dry and scrappy chips topped off with frozen, overcooked squid rings. I also ordered... More

I'm sorry Joe. I get that you seat a lot of people in that big place, and a lot of them are tourists who just want to look out over the harbour, but as a fish place, I think you need to be concerned about your fish. When I had lunch, the snapper was tough and the barramundi was like... More

We had dinner here after a very enjoyable day at Freemantle. The food was quite nice albeit a little expensive. That said we found Perth to be a bit pricey in general so not unusual. Service was terrific and a great night had by our group. Definitely made better by getting a table on the waterfront window which the staff... More

Had a fish platter that was very tasty although the lobster would of been barely legal size limit. Some of the other dishes such as the barramundi have only small portions considering they are a big fish. I can't really rate it highly on value for money but can certainly rate it highly for taste.

It is disappointing when you pay $33 for a steak that has no flavor other than charcoal and same with my partner dish of the Spanish Macral and yet we paid $2 more on a dish last night in Margaret River and I could not fault the dish if you are going to compete with food and prices you best...
