Arrived a bit late in Picton, and wandering along the main road, at the end of High St found this restaurant. Not too much choices at that evening, we ordered Lamb Sagwala and Tandori Chicken, with Garlic Naan. Surprisingly both were yummy for our taste, so we had nice dinner with friendly services at affordable prices.

The Buttery Chicken lunch special is not only a bargain when I asked for hot it hit dead in! The Basami rice is as... More

I was very surprised to find Indian food of this quality in Picton. I had their Chana Masala Curry which had rich tomato flavours. Have to say this is the best Chana Masala Curry I have tasted. We also had Madras Curry, Butter Chicken and Honey Chilli Chicken. All dishes were very tasty. Basic decor but tidy. When the food... More

Honestly among the best Indian food I've had in NZ. Incredible to find a place like this in little Picton. I had the lamb korma. So tasty! Service was fast too.

Was in Picton for a night and decided to find a place to eat when I stumbled across this place. I was served my the manager: Anita and I asked her for some vegetarian recommendations. The food hit the table and I was blown away. Very complex flavorings. Probably the best Indian food that I've had outside India. Appetizer, entree,... More

We had a pleasant evening meal here. Meals can be ordered as hot or as mild as you like. As is usual with Indian food the final bill can be quite hefty if you like the chutneys, the raita and the pickles etc. as I do. Service was good.
