Good breakfast and sandwiches, prices seem consistent with other places in New Zealand. Not a fan of the cola.

Stoped for coffee and a bite to eat and ordered the antipasto platter for two. Cost around $22NZD. When it arrived i thought it was a mistake so we clarified with the waitress who confirmed that indeed the chopping board with two tiny squares of perhaps brie/camembert and two of the miniature squares of some form of flavourless cheese. These... More

Stopped in on a roadie for a much needed coffee. Greeted with poor service and served up a terrible take away coffee that was scorching hot and burnt. Disappointed!

This is the kind of place where you leave all the stress and troubles behind. Out of two days in Picton, we came here three times...twice for breakfast and once for dinner. The first morning we came in, these delicious looking and smelling muffins had just come out of the oven. We shared two..the cheese veggie and a yummy fig... More

One of the few places in Picton on a Saturday night that had a table for us. Two adults, a 2 year old and a little baby. The European girl who greeted us was very welcoming and took us straight to a table. We were served quickly and our food and drinks arrived without delay. The food was absolutely delicious.... More

We had two good flat whites and a chocolate brownie, the lady behind the counter actually asked whether we wanted single or double shots of espresso in the flat whites which most places don't bother to ask, so that was nice :-)

Stopped here with 2 friends hoping for a nice brunch. I ordered the garlic mushrooms with poached eggs- the eggs were hard, toast was soggy and mushrooms were only ok. It was €17.50! I sent it back and asked for a savoury muffin instead. There was no apology from the waitress. The muffin was good, as was the coffee but... More

We had a lovely family meal on a Tuesday night when there is nothing too much open in Picton. Not full of high expectations Le Cafe was a pleasant surprise. The menu has a seafood bias which is totally fine given the waterfront location. The wait staff need a little training but that aside a pleasant evening for all.
