After a long morning visiting monuments and museums in the area, a coffee break was just what we needed. Ebenezers offers different types of coffee based drinks and some pastries. The coffee is really nice and well made, although slightly on the expensive side, especially if you go for a speciality coffee. I had a bacon, egg, and cheese croissant which was delicious, but slightly greasy (not surprising though). My only negative would be the lack of mugs and plates, everything is served in takeaway containers.

This is a nice little coffee shop within view of Union station. Good coffee at not too steep of prices. Free wifi. Indoor and outdoor seating on a street corner. Light pastry too.

Ebenezer's was the nearest local coffeeshop when I lived on the Hill, but my love for it is based almost exclusively on their Honey Lavender Latte. Hot, iced, however you want it - it's sweet, smooth, wonderful, and caffeinated. The shop itself has a lovely, quiet vibe - there are always neighbors in there reading, working on their laptops, or... More
