I love Korean food, and I've tried it everywhere I go. I haven't had as good a selection of Korean food as I had a Mandu for years (quite literally since I was in South Korea). The food was fresh, very tasty, served in big...More

Mandu was recommended by a colleague, and we tried the original on 18th street. Smaller menu than the newer one on K street (according to our super helpful waiter), but that didn't stop us from enjoying. Great dumplings, great drinks, but the Dolsot Bibim Bap...More

If you like Korean food, in particular Galbi, then this is the place to go. We will definitely go back next time we are in DC.

When I lived in Washington, DC, Mandu was a neighborhood favorite. I no longer live in DC but traveled there for business in January 2017 and met a friend for dinner at Mandu. I was pleased to see that the restaurant is still delivering great...More

Korean food done right. Had the short ribs which were tasty. I'll go back for these alone. The custard sounds crazy but is quite good with the crunchy potato and other bits added. Loves the soujitinis. Aloe ok but the yoghurt though crazy idea was...More

We always try to eat at Mandu when in D.C. It's an easy walk from Dupont Circle. We love the food--dumplings, soups, noodles, and other wonderful dishes.

It was good but not nearly as flavorful as expected. If you are nervous about trying Korean food this is a good start, but if you want legit Korean food, I'd try somewhere else

Was visiting from ut of town. The food was very tasty, reasonable prices and great location. This restaurant was recommended to me by a friend who lives in town.

We had dinner here recently. I was underwhelmed. The menu offers basic choices and food quality is very basic level. Service was low quality. For prices, there are many other good options nearby.

It's tempting to write: Bandon't. What a sin to have bland Asian food considering the vast variety of spices available. We started with the named appetizer, Bandu - steamed dumplings. Neither the dumplings or the sauce had any spice or much flavor. My partner got...More

You can park on street all along 18th street (lower than S and above Florida) and all cross streets: R, Riggs, S, Swan, T, V, Vernon, U and Florida. For free parking and walking not an issue, go from 20th to 16th. There is... More
