Nice neighborhood restaurant. Really good food, really knowledgeable servers. We shared the sampler plate and found it a very nice introduction to Ethiopian food. Nice "after work" atmosphere

Ethiopian food is great. The bread (injera) is interesting and different. It's used to pick up the food. Great fun. Anyway we had the vegetarian sampler with lamb tibs. Lovely flavours and filling. The service was excellent and the whole night a delight. Definitely recommend!

If you only like hot dogs and hamburgs, don't come here. If you're up for a unique dining experience, well, you're in luck. We tried the vegetarian combo plate. It was a huge platter with varied veggie concoctions. There is no silverware; you scoop up the food with tasty spongy bread. Delicious. While you're in the area, take a stroll... More

Ethiopic consistently delivers good food and good value. On our last visit our group included a vegetarian and a teenager who'd never eaten Ethiopian food before. The staff were patient in answering the teen's questions and explaining the menu, and he was pleased with his selection. Situated on a corner, the dining area is light and open with windows on... This restaurant was one of the best reviewed for Ethiopian in D.C. I haven't had Ethiopian in many years and this was pretty good, we had the veggie and meat plates. It's not as good as I remember at Fasikas in Adams Morgan. And for some odd reason they do not offer Sambusas? The service was good, no issues there.... More

Next to a place in Amsterdam, Zurich and Munich the best Ethiopic food we have had. Enjoy getting your fingers dirty and enjoy the slightly spicy taste :)

Overall the food was good, we had beef tibs and Dora wat with chicken, and the vegetarian options (4). We enjoyed the meal, but service was dismal. We had to track people to get attention. Also had to ask for a large injera plate for the meat sauces, which were served in bowls with the injera separate - quite unlike... More

Service was friendly. The Ethiopia. Beer cold. We enjoyed this meal - we had the vegetarian and meat tasters served on a large injera bread which I hadn't realised was cold. First time eating Ethiopian and I thought the spicier vegetable and meats were really quite good whilst the blander ones not so good. I was also surprised at the... More
