Been several years since I was here and it's still great. Bone in filet with the kona rub was fantastic. Wine list was great as well. While the food is on par with many other steak houses (Morton's, Del Frisco's, etc.) the location and staff make the difference here. Will certainly go back.

This place is beautiful and you feel like you could see famous politicians at any moment but I was not impressed. The menu is so over the top expensive. $55 for filet mignon and that doesn't come with sides. You have to order them separately. Then the drink menu is on an ipad and the prices for wine is outrageous!... More

I went to lunch at the Capitol grille. My server was very polite and her service was outstanding. I had the wedge salad and the dry aged porterhouse. The steak wasn't on the lunch menu but she let me order it. The salad was very good. The best wedge salad I've ever had. Big chunks of nacon and the blue... More

Of all the wonderful meals we had in D.C., The Capital Grille wins for most memorable. Everything about this meal, from start to finish, was excellent. As was our server, Akim, who was a good mix of old-fashioned graciousness and high class decorum. My friend started with a cup of clam chowder, which she proclaimed "excellent". I wanted to save... It is one of the more reasonable places in Washigton and you wouldn't think so knowing congressman and senators and famous people eat there. We were quite impressed with atmosphere and food. The one waiter we had was terrible but the rest was awesome I highly reccommend and would have given 5 stars if not for the one server. Nice... More

We recently had dinner (party of six) at The Capital Grille. It was a wonderful place to get together - we took our time and never felt rushed. Our waiter was so knowledgeable and accommodating, and the ambiance is lovely. Since you want to know, the steaks were fantastic - four of us had steaks with a variety of doneness.... More

We went to Capital Grille for Easter dinner. My husband and I ordered the bone in filet special, which was very expensive but also very tasty. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. My daughter ordered the lobster Mac and cheese side as an entree and really enjoyed it. My son ordered the lamb chops which were a huge disappointment. Very very salty... More

My wife and a few co workers ate here last night and the food and service was amazing. The service was spot on, the drinks were delicious, and the food was perfect. I am not a picky eater but this place has the best food I've had in a long time eating out.
