Sándwiches are pretty good, the carrot cake is delicious and service is pretty good!! Price is not too bad for the area, definitely good value!

Paul Bakery is part of an international chain with a Euro flare. Near the Navy Memorial and the National Archive, it serves up consistently good sandwiches, pastries, and coffee. Indoor and outdoor seating makes it a pleasant place whatever the weather.
Glad to see the nice French bistro Paul in Washington. The service was quick and the decor felt like being in France for just a couple minutes. We had a nice chicken baguette with avocado. Pricing was okay.

Quick lunches need not be hasty too! Paul's is definitely delectable whether one stays in or takes out. The pastries are always fresh and beautifully constructed, the breads glorious. Try their soups and salads too.
