We came in because they had a jazz band playing good music. We tried the margaritas and the dizzy gillespie. They do not have enough supply of cocktail glasses. The toilet was ok, but they did not bother to install the right size of seat for the john - strange.

Ok maybe you thought you wanted to listen to some live jazz. Don't bother. Tight? A foreign concept. Actually they need to lose the drummer. Want s drink? Nothing on draft. "It's a jazz bar, who drinks beer" you say. Ok. Got me there but the bar staff could care less about getting you a scotch. A sad, sad, indictment.

It's an unpretentious jazz bar that is well worth the visit. Don't go there expecting a very classy decoration and audience - go to enjoy simple meals and drinks and good jazz and you won't be disappointed.

Columbia Station looks and acts a bit like a dive bar, which may not be for everyone. Don't be put off -- they get wonderful musicians who play great and play late; check local listings for who's in town! Food is OK, bar service is excellent, which sorta tells you about this establishment's priorities. And that's just fine by me.

We had a group of 10 that happened in for some jazz. We are all players in a band and had a ball! The combo that played there was awesome. We planned on a short hop in/out, but made it an extended stay. Got hungry and had a couple of their pizzas. Very good! We almost came back for jam... More

We wanted to hear music in Adams Morgan. No cover, no crowd, no loud patrons, just a beer a bite to eat and a 6-piece group cranking out the jazz. Will definately return.
