This was our second time here, several years apart, and I must say, I was a bit let-down. Either my memory painted a different picture than reality or the food has fallen off a little. It was still good, don't get me wrong, just not as good as I was hoping for. We ordered a variety of dishes, from Chicken... More

I came in late evening around 9 PM. There was a couple of people there as well as a very large group of about 15 people. Service was attentive and rapid. I ordered the Tandoori Mix Grill which had seekh kebab, malai tikka, haryali tikka, tandoori shrimp, chicken tikka and tandoori chicken. The platter was very attractively arranged and the... More

This restaurant is a couple of blocks away from where family lives in DC, so we went there on a recent rainy evening for dinner. I had the vegetable korma which was good. My brother had a lamb dish that he liked. There's nothing wrong with the food, service, or prices here, but there's nothing so good about them that... More

We selected this hotel as it was nearer to the place where we stayed. We came for dinner and ordered gravy and breads. We brought couple of starters. One was the best we had ever had(Spinach Chat) and other was very average food (Papri Chat). Bread were very soft and good. But we felt gravy has to be little bit... More

If you are staying in the Georgetown. I highly recommend this restaurant. Excellent Indian food, great service, friendly. There were other options in the area but because they were in new buildings with expensive decor the same quality of Indian food would be twice as expensive.

Popped in for the lunchtime buffet. Very good selection and all very tasty. Nothing fancy about the place and it's quite small but service is good. All in all just what I want from an Indian..

Visited here with a Groupon certificate last night for an early dinner before a show. The sign outside appears to lead you upstairs, but the restaurant is on the ground floor. Very small, perhaps 12 tables. We were greeted warmly by Islam, who continued to be our server through the meal. My wife had butter chicken and I had chicken... More

The food is pretty good here, sauces could be a little thicker but the flavors are good and spicy - ask for very mild if you don't do spice too well. The Butter Chicken was great and the Lamb Rogan Josh hit the spot too, great warm Naan. Islam the waiter was very efficient and friendly and provided great service,... More

This is a nice downtown restaurant with very colorful and tasteful dishes, and it is in the middle of downtown, and the prices are very reasonable.

I've lieved eight years of my life in South Asia so I know my stuff when it comes to Indian food. We ate here and found the food really bland. The staff were very apologetic and said they can't increase the spiciness because many clients complain about excessive spice. They offered us some hot sauce which wasn't really much of... More
