We were staying in the area and saw this little place. The Macchiato Caramello was delicious! Local coffee at it's best.

The coffee drinks were good, but the sandwiches were pricey and, while they touted wifi, the entire wifi was down and they did not put up signs notifying anyone before they came in and ordered a drink and food.

We were with a group on a mission trip helping Waterfront Church (meets on the same block as this place), and the pastor suggested we try this place. Obviously, lots of locals like it! We had a great cappucino, kids had hot chocolate....my cranberry muffin was EXCELLENT!!! Several in our group commented on their beverage being one of the best... More

Was a nice discovery and great alternative to Starbucks. Illy coffee, well made. Tasty breakfast sandwiches as well.

Its always nice to find a great family owned place, and Lot 38 is it. Coffee is delicious. Sandwiches are made to order, creative and paninis served HOT. The upstairs cafe is perfect for quick chats with friends, phone calls out of the office or working alone. Glad its so close to the office.

Stopped in while waiting to go to the airport. They have a nice quite place to sit and have some coffee and a bite to eat. Highly recommend trying the brownies.

Love the coffee here; better than Starbucks! The breakfast sandwiches are also excellent and large, and they have a nice selection of breads and muffins. service is quick and friendly. A good spot to visit if you are in the Navy Yard/ballpark area.
