Visited this restaurant for the first time and had a good lunch. Had a "Scottish Salmon" along with French fries. It was good. The wait staff were very helpful and friendly. But it was expensive. So if you want a good lunch in a good...More

This is a superb seafood restaurant. The sauces are informed with Portuguese notes, not spicy, but all was fresh and flavorful. Try the grilled octopus and the simply grilled fish. The lobster bisque was rich, satisfying and excellent. Glad we ordered the cup and not...More

Came in for dinner with my parents and a friend. The waiter that served us was very good, gave a thorough description of our menu. Seafood is really their specialty so we skipped the meat and all ordered that. I had the calamari, which was...More

I celebrated another birthday last week, and to continue a somewhat annual tradition, we invited some relatives and guests for a dinner to celebrate. We hadn’t visited Oceanaire Seafood Room for several years, and I remembered always enjoying dinner there, so that was my choice....More

The main floor was closed for remodeling. They did work us in for a early dinner, thank you. There were 3 graduations in town. The waiter was not very attentive, one colleague's steak was over cooked, they did take it off the bill. Good was...More

This was standard see food, there was nothing special about it. The atmosphere was good though noisey. The drinks was served full service and not shorted for more profit to the restaurant.

I love the decor in the restaurant. The food was good but very pricey. This was a family affair with some seniors who could barely see the menu.

Truthfully, I had never heard of this restaurant but it really is a D.C. landmark. You must go. The crab cakes were to die for! Mounds of lump crab meat with an awesome sauce that complimented the cakes. I had never had any that were...More

I've been to this restaurant more times than I can count during yearly trips to DC, and they never fail to deliver. If you find yourself there when halibut is in season, make sure to inquire about the halibut t-bone as it is one of...More

Yes, it's expensive and they do have crab legs. We consider it an occasional splurge to go here. P.S. Their crab cakes are good.
