Been here before...maybe 10 times over 20 years. Food is going downhill, prices up up up. Had a reservation tonight, but they sat me by the door.....cold, despite all kinds of available seats in further. Came for the brisket, and they are out? Really? Still love the cornbread muffins.

We came here for lunch, sharing BBQ ribs and a combo platter with pulled pork, slow cooked chicken thighs and brisket. The kids (8 and 11) had their own kids meal to choose from and opted for mac and cheese, and sliders, with fries. The corn bread/mini muffins were to die for! All in all, we were extremely satisfied!

Had the half rack of ribs that was pretty good - good flavour and very tender, but I felt that the portion size was a bit small for the price. Great selection of beers. Excellent service and I didn't have to wait for my food. Good atmosphere.

My boyfriend and I went for lunch on a Sunday. Our server was really nice and knowledgeable about the food. We are very satisfied with the server. On the other hand, the food was over cooked, the ribs, to be more specific. It felt like we were eating charcoal. The chicken wasn't fresh ether. We might come back to try... More

Went to dinner on a Friday night, had a reservation, but was late due to Metro hang up. Still was seated, which was appreciated. Had the brisket sandwich with Cole slaw, GREAT! Place is known for bourbon, so we had some, Wife had an Old Fasion, and I had mine neat, hers was Makers Mark, mine was WT101. We shared... More

I ordered the St. Louis style ribs. Great taste and extremely tender. Friendly staff and a good spot to stop by for BBQ and drinks.

Popped in here on Black Friday after a long day of shopping! Initially the service from front of house was a bit confusing but once we sat down the service was good. We shared a plate of nachos whilst we had a drink and looked at the menu. The nachos were great and more than enough for the 3 of... More

Ate there election night. Everyone was quietly watching the results. Our service was great. Saw some one with the nachos and they looked great. I had pulled pork and most of my family had ribs. We all enjoyed our meal. Meal only came with one side which was the only down side. An extra side was 6 dollars which I... More

Our family after walking all over Georgetown couldn't resist the smell of the BBQ coming from Old Glory. The service from entering to leaving was extremely welcoming and enjoyable. For the younger kids 11 and under they had crayons and games to keep them entertained. The food was as good as it smelt, the ribs were absolutely fantastic and the... More

Me and my family had one of the mixed meat dishes and it we barely finished. A sampling of all their types of meat (pulled pork, ribs, brisket etc.) is served on a big metal tray together with 4 sides. The restaurant, which is also a good bar on two levels (the upper one has a terrace) offer, on my... More

Description
Of all of our "native" food, barbecue is uniquely, authentically and gloriously All-American. Old Glory, located on historic M Street in Georgetown, captures the food, flavor and feel of the great barbecue restaurants of the United States, and offers representations of each styles of barbecue served in different parts of the country. "It looks like a rib joint, sounds like a rib joint and smells like one...most important, of course, the kitchen smokes fine barbecue," says the Washington Post.

The huge barbecue pit, the open kitchen, and the 1901 Silver Dollar Four Winds hand-crafted bar, create lively, exciting atmosphere that is downright down-home.
