Had dinner at Tony Changs. Great service with excellent food. Hot and soups soup was delicious as a stRter. Then on to shrimp and broccoli that was absolutely delicious!

I had seen this place in past visits, but visited for the first time recently. I was disappointed. There isn't a menu or a price displayed for food. You fill up a bowl of ingredients and a cook prepares the food on a hot grill. My concern came as I saw run-of-the-mill options for food. Then when I asked the... More

Had a meal in the Chinese restaurant on the first floor. Traditional Chinese style. Were early in the evening so it was quiet. Good menu. Server very attentive. Had a pot of complimentary tea while waiting for our food. Enjoyed our meal. Fresh fruit and fortune cookies also complimentary to finish. Possibly the best choice of places in the area... More

Naturally, I'm joking. After all, Washington D.C., as everybody knows is East of the Pecos! But I'm not joking about the quality of the food or the excellent service. You just have to try it.We went to the restaurant upstairs, and we're glad we did. What we didn't expect is that we'd make such a pig of ourselves! We overbought,... More

I never saw wonton soup with only one dumpling, sitting in a broth that looked like tea. Steamed pork dumplings were not the dim sum ones. They were hard on the outside and filled with a homogeneous mixture, rather than a delicate wrapper with chunks of pork. The plaques on the wall stating this is a top restaurant must have... More

We found it by chance and are happy we entered. The servicing was very good, the food was very delicious. And exotic at the same time.

On a long weekend to Washington DC the ladies and I took the metro into Chinatown and ate at Tony Cheng's. The food was delicious, service was fantastic and atmosphere nice. So glad we chose it.

Very good Cantonese food upstairs. The seafood special was cooked to perfection and the Cantonese duck was delicious! Crispy skin, no fat, lots of meat! Went there following morning for dim sum. That was a big disappointment! The taste was off in several of the dishes and the skin or wrappings were too thick. Definitely would not recommend their dim... More

NOTE: This review only addresses the first floor, Mongolian BBQ portion of this restaurant. Tony Cheng’s is a regular on my DC restaurant rotation. My son and I typically grab a meal here before crossing the street to Verizon Center for a Capitals game. Last Saturday, we stayed true to form. We enjoy the ritual of filling the bowl with... More

We called in for Yum. Cha lunch twice while we were visiting Washington, the first day we went there was late in the afternoon 2.20 pm and the trolley service had finished but they still let us in and we ordered from Yum Cha menu and the food was beautiful in fact my wife ordered some Prawn Toast which was...
