On the second level of Union Station is a small, eclectic Asian restaurant. Chinese fried rice dishes, Thai curries, and large noodle soups were all tasty and filling. The menu includes some Korean, Japanese, Filipino and Vietnamese options too. Not too spicy. Even a "very hot" dish was a tad mild. For the location, this place is very good.

Better food than expected in a railway station. I had my first General Tso's Chicken here. It is in a relatively quiet corner of Union Station.

I love the Grilled Veggies!! They give you a choice of brown or white rice and a generous portion of grilled veggies including zucchini, carrots, stringed beans, onions, mushrooms, broccoli and three wonderful rectangles of grilled tofu. The teriyaki sauce is delicious.

Decent meal while waiting for the train. I think right now it's the best restaurant at Union Station.

The last time I was traveling in Washington, DC, I was on my way out of the city and looking for somewhere to grab a quick meal in Union Station and kill some time before catching my train back home. I was lucky enough to find the East Street Cafe tucked away on the upper mezzanine on the opposite end... More

I work near here and am often dragged here by my friends as they go here all the time. They like it for the variety. However, I'm not sure what they mean by that as you can order the same dish 5 days a week and it will be different every time.

East Street Cafe is a wonderful Asian restaurant in a tucked away alcove in Union Station. I'm a vegetable person, and East Street Café has a great menu full of dishes with lots of fresh vegetables such as green and red bell pepper, broccoli, carrots, squash, mushrooms, cauliflower, and many more. I love their salmon teriyaki, which comes with a... More

My favorite is Curry Laksa an Indonesian noodle soup with chicken and tofu. It is more than enough to satisfy your appetite. The offerings are quite diverse, coming from all over asia including india. three heats of curries, fried rice, noodle dishes as well. some nice entree-sized soups to pick from as well.

Got to station late and needed a bite to eat. Food was okay as was the service. Nothing special. The food had flavor but it didn't excite me.

We decided to grab a quick meal here having spent all day doing a bus tour. We chose to share 3 entrees and a main meal. The food was nice enough and quick to arrive but the service was ordinary. One man looking after all the tables. He had limited English was rushed and unfriendly.
