Marcel's is a perfectly good restaurant that doesn't reach a level of perfection that would justify their Michelin-level prices. At a truly great restaurant, each element of a dish gets the chef's full attention and is equally perfect; at Marcel's, by contrast, a delicious piece...More

Hadn't been in awhile and went before a Kennedy Center play. The food was perfect. Not too much before a play but plenty if you want it. Getting a ride to the play was an added bonus! Can't wait to go back.

Went with some friends from st thomas. Food was great and the service was tremendous. My wife is allergic to garlic and she able to order anything and it was made without any garlic. We can't wait to go again

Our family all agreed that our dinner at Marcel's was one of the best meals that we've ever eaten. The restaurant offers a tasting menu that changes regularly and features a choice of 4 to 7 courses. They are very flexible and will allow you...More

Servers are true professionals - knowledgable, discreet and well attuned to the rhythm of its guests/diners and...More

Marcel's is a great restaurant near the foggy bottom region in D.C. I have had dinners there but never a brunch. We had brunch the other day and it was great. It is definitely a more formal place for brunch than many young people are...More

We went for dinner before Chicago at JFK about three weeks ago. Food was excellent and so was the service. Was pleasantly surprised when we were told of their car service to the JFK after dinner. Will be back again soon.

Hi All! Question: I was looking at this restaurant and thought it might be nice to take my student to, who just celebrated graduating high school. What is the tasting menu price for 2? I saw the four course was $95. Was that per person or for both? Thanks! Traveling Teacher:)
