Had a Bordeaux served very cold - my American friends liked it, but it was not to my liking. The mussels were perfect as well as the beef. Very nice relaxing atmosphere and friendly serving. Will most likely be back next time in DC.

Old style Italian, great atmosphere. Food was very good, a cut above what we were expecting. Service was quite good with reasonable wine prices.

This is an outstanding restaurant. Our large meeting group went out for dinner while attending a conference and the service was exceptional. You wouldn’t notice this gem if you were just walking down the street but it’s worth a closer look. The steaks were cooked...More

Stayed in the neighborhood on a recent trip and was craving some good French food. Saw this place on the map and came in for a snack and some wine. First off I waited probably 10 mins to be greeted at the table and then...More

The mussels are made many ways. Tried 2 kinds that were delicious. Also tried the rabbit, which was delicious. Lots of reasonable wine choices too! Very big place. Loved it.

Nice place for a casual meal. Servers were not the most pleasant to customers. Wouldn't split the bill up for us either so that wasn't very accommodating.

Had not been back for many years and decided to try this restaurant again. The tournedo was tasteless and fries dry and hard. Considering the high price very disappointed and will not return. There are many more fantastic restaurants to choose from.

One of the few places that I would recommend for a DC resident as it has consistent standard of Bistro food and efficient Gallic service. Its also possibly the noisiest boîte in the city but its a great place to take visitors as it has...More

Bistrot du Coin opened its doors on Memorial Day of 2000 by Yannis Felix and Michel Verdon. The motto is French, Fun and Friendly, this is our guideline to bring you the best experience ever at Bistrot Du Coin. The word Bistrot is defined in French as a neighborhood restaurant where you can eat good food at a fair price. The typical color of a French Bistrot is pale yellow to brown (otherwise known as Bistre) because the walls used to get dirty quickly from nicotine. Bistrot Du Coin is also known for its parties, three times a year to celebrate famous French events such as Bastille day on July 14th, The Beaujolais Nouveau on the third thursday of November or The New Year's Eve.
