We spent a week at the hotel and spent many evenings at the bar. Great place. Richard is very friendly and will do anything you want/need. Had breakfast at the restaurant and it was good. They will do anything they can to make your stay...More

Since one in our party was in a wheelchair we decided to dine in the downstairs bar. It's not very cozy and it was freezing in there, but that was our choice. The food, which came from the restaurant, was pretty good. The beef ribs...More

Made brunch reservations here. We ended up getting the burger. Not a lot of selection on the menu but the burger was pretty dang good!! And the fries were super crispy. We got $4 poinsetta mimosas and they were delish too! Pleasant surprise.

We chose Beacon because of the sky bar. It was pretty busy up there, but not too crazy that we couldn’t find seats. There was a DJ and it seemed like a great place...except it’s not really happy hour if you can’t get a drink....More

Richard is an amazing bar tender! Fast, friendly, accurate, and able to provide helpful suggestions. My girlfriend doesn't drink. Without being asked, Richard made her a mocktail that she loved and drank all night. That, my friends, is superb service. The food specials are hard...More

Pork - overcooked. Burgers - overcooked. We asked for extra pitas with our appy dips; they brought them with the main course (after the dips had been cleared) and charged us $2.00! The fries were good and the pasta was tolerable. I would not return.

Blindly picking a place va Open Table led us here. Nearly empty at 7pm on a Thursday wasn’t a good sign. Sure enough, there was a distinct lack of ambience, and it was chilly enough to keep my coat on. Expensive menu....the food wasn’t awful,...More

I stayed at the Beacon Hotel and dined in their restaurant twice. The first time was for happy hour where I was thoroughly unimpressed. My first two drinks were free as a result of receiving complimentary drink coupons as a perk from the hotel, but...More

Description
Designer Walter Gagliano second visioning of BBG introduced a fresh, and romantic feel to BBG. Vermeer’s portrait of “Girl with a Pearl Earring” was the muse leading to creating the new look. “Our original goal was to bring the space to a cleaner more contemporary vibe, when we discovered the over scaled Vermeer print , originally created by Philipe Stark was on the market, our fondness for bold romanticism found expression and led our fabric and lighting choices in a different direction" stated Mr. Gagliano. Chef Steven Hunter introduces a new menu complementing the new look with his own re-interpretation of classic American comfort foods that are stimulating to the palate and eye, Chef Hunter states: “We produce our own charcuterie and fresh signature sausages from organic meats, ninety percent of our fish are sustainably raised or caught in the Chesapeake Bay area. ”We are committed to support local producers, who are dedicated to environmentally, sustainable agriculture.”
