Never tried the full menu as I arrived back during happy hour every night. Good craft beer on tap. Happy hour was your typical one. Had breakfast one morning which was just fine.

The food is just average. They like to use a lot of salt! Great service and lovely atmosphere though. A good place to have drinks with friends or colleagues.

I was here for drinks and small bites with friends and first and foremost - the worst service I've received anywhere in D.C. It was super bad, having to flag down a waiter and/or ask the bartender for the simplest things (like a menu for...More

I attended a BNI business meeting in their private room with about 35 people. That about maxed out the space. The room was very quiet for our meeting. The food was very good as was service.

Ate dinner here on a weeknight. The place was mostly empty. It looks like they tried to update the dining room without replacing the carpet/paneling, and it shows. Nonetheless, an acceptable dining room. Varied menu with interesting entrees. I had a a Caesar salad and...More

This place has really nice views of the city but I found the customer service (both table service and at the bar) to be very slow and rude. Food was whatever. Happy hour prices were decent. Overall I thought it was below average and I'm...More

Description
Designer Walter Gagliano second visioning of BBG introduced a fresh, and romantic feel to BBG. Vermeer’s portrait of “Girl with a Pearl Earring” was the muse leading to creating the new look. “Our original goal was to bring the space to a cleaner more contemporary vibe, when we discovered the over scaled Vermeer print , originally created by Philipe Stark was on the market, our fondness for bold romanticism found expression and led our fabric and lighting choices in a different direction" stated Mr. Gagliano. Chef Steven Hunter introduces a new menu complementing the new look with his own re-interpretation of classic American comfort foods that are stimulating to the palate and eye, Chef Hunter states: “We produce our own charcuterie and fresh signature sausages from organic meats, ninety percent of our fish are sustainably raised or caught in the Chesapeake Bay area. ”We are committed to support local producers, who are dedicated to environmentally, sustainable agriculture.”
