We stopped here for dinner because it is my daughter's favorite. I had the hamburger and salad and it was delicious. My SIL didn't care for the pasta dish, it didn't have enough flavor for her liking. But they tried to make it right for her, and ended up not charging us for her meal. Nice people. Drinks are good.

Food, drinks and service were great. My duck breast however was tiny. Almost no meat. Prepared well otherwise. Good soup. Porkchops and rock fish were well liked and good portions. Wine selections were really nice. Would try again.

Very interesting interior decor in tribute to author/aviator Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, (The Little Prince). Exterior is the great architecture typical of this renewed region of DC, I was able to enjoy my lunch outside on a beautiful fall day when the ginkgo trees were vibrant yellow. There was traffic noise but the day and scenery made it worthwhile. I didn't... More

It looks like this restaurant is named after a famous French aviator Aintoine de Saint Exupery, though we first associated it with the Lyon airport named after him. Food is good and served in generous proportions. We enjoyed great salads and a nice bowl of pork belly noodle soup. Decor is French antique posters. Service is reasonably fast. It's a... More

I've eaten here a few times (dinner and brunch) and I have always enjoyed the food. I've gone for the burger or the fish in the evenings and for brunch, eggs benny with fried green tomatoes. So I suppose you can't mess those up but some places do. The service has ranged from good enough to excellent and they have... More

I'm a fan of Cafe Saint-Ex. Great food. Cute restaurant. Great outdoor patio. The burger is delicious. The breakfast biscuit sandwich is delicious. Service can be a problem. I've had the same uneven experience at its sister restaurant, Bar Pilar. Here's my theory. During weekend brunches, they staff their servers way too thinly. Waiter doubles as bartender, and one server... More

I've had other friends have this issue at this place. I stopped going because I generally lost a lot of respect for it. Then my friend had her going away drinks there, so I was obligated to stop by. Knowing what I had heard, I kept my receipt and took a photo of my signed receipt and copy. YEP, they... More

Cafe Saint Ex was an old establishment on 14th street area before all these fancy bars and restaurant. Very easy to get there by metro bus or subway U street. Great place to hang out for drinks after work or weekends. Decoration and the look still maintain the old Saint Ex that I used to go for drinks. Food is... More

Met friends for a Sunday brunch (make a reservation unless alone). Our reservation was for 11:30. If you didn't have a reservation you would have had to wait unless you wanted to sit at the bar. All around great service and the menu is fantastic. They have something to satisfy everyone. $10 mimosas with $1 refills. Want to go back... More

Wound up here on a Saturday night with boyfriend and friends. It was easy to get in and we went to the basement/downstairs level where the DJ had a 90s playlist going (as someone in my 30s, I was into this). Lots of young people there as well as some 30ish types (ourselves included). We had a boom boom dance... More
