I don't think you can get closer than this to Iranian home made food. I also liked tho home made Doogh (Iranian yogurt drink similar to Kifir).

Stayed 4 days in DC, and I tried this restaurant twice. Fast service, great price and good portion. It is an Iranian fast-food style with variety combo.
Our first nite at Georgetown and we were undecided about dinner. Chanced on this small joint and the food looked enticing. It was very tasty too. Go for the kubideh - its the best item hands-down
well, you can't really screw up a falafel sandwich...so 3 stars. nothing special. but for the money-quite a lot of food in Georgetown!
We went to the banh in Georgetown and it was a fantastic dinner. The prices are good and the taste of the kabob and bread was just amazing. The only thig about it that the place is too small and they dont have enough chairs...More
If you are looking for an inexpensive Iranian meal in Georgetown, this is good place to try. The food is good and the price is right.
great food. fair prices. very patient order-taker. this time, I got the chicken sandwich, saving $5, I think. great deal since I never ate the rice!
