We visited Bangkok Joe's as a party of 4, with 2 teenagers, for lunch recently. Food and service were excellent, and is a very lovely restaurant and great location down near the river. My favorite was the Tom Yum Chicken Soup, which I had never had. Had wontons, assorted dumplings, yummy Pineapple fried rice. Everything we had was excellent. Definitely... More

Finished a big day in DC here after a walk around the harbor. All the restaurants right on the harbor were averaging an hour wait so we passed on those in hopes of finding something with less wait. So glad we did. Food and service were spot on. Wonton soup was great, as was the ginger beef and broccoli. They,... More

Great atmosphere and menu choices at this upscale Thai restaurant featuring dumplings. We opted to order several of the dumpling appetizers (sort of a Tapas style lunch). They were excellent. Friendly wait staff and a leisurely pace to allow you to relax. Full service bar. The only downside to the place was the 2 single toilets (unisex). A longish line... More

Good Thai food (although it is somewhat mild in terms of spiciness). Attentive service and a nice atmosphere.

Came here for an evening out and was very pleased with the food. The restaurant seemed quite empty, which was worrying, but it turned out to have lovely food and drinks. The service was a bit pushy, although friendly. I would have preferred a bit more spice in the dishes, but it was still quite good.

We were in town to view a film and happened to come upon Bangkok Joe's. We decided to give it a try and was extremely pleased!! In fact, we decided to return later in the evening to try additional dishes and we were all pleased with our selections i.e. Dumplings, noodle bowls, wings and tea! Plan to return during our... My fiance and I have both been to Thailand and the food here is just as good. The dumplings were excellent, and entrees were generous portions for the price. The roti dough for dessert was amazing! Next time we visit DC we will definitely be back.

Went here with a group of business colleagues and everyone thought the food was excellent. Definitely over ordered but had the chance to sample an array of great appetizers including their dim sum and a variety of curries and thai noodle dishes. Sticky rice is a personal favorite.

You can make a meal out of the appetizers great selection of dumplings, egg rolls etc. Noodle and rice dishes were also a hit - try the pineapple fried rice! Excellent choice on Georgetown's waterfront!
